Are You at a Crossroad with Your Project?

We tend to think that more options present more possibility. We think that having more options seems like the smart thing to do, but more options can really keep you from getting started. In many cases, having more options paralyzes your team over the fear of walking away from a potentially better choice.

It's easy to get stuck when confronted with too many good options. The challenge is that we don't know what to do next, because we're pulled in many good directions – and doing one thing with focus means not doing something else.

No one can blame you for careful consideration. Careful consideration seems to insulate you from the criticism that follows taking action. But getting stuck helps no one. Sometimes being prudent is not the best option.

Sometimes the best option is to trust your instincts and as Nike says, “Just Do It."

Until next time…I’m Marty, make every minute count.
