I have a simple question for you: are you investing in yourself?
In today’s competitive world, you must invest in yourself if you want to get ahead, if you want to get a better job, or a promotion.
What are you doing to make yourself better?
When you read this, you might think you have to go back to school to get some advanced degree. But that’s not what I am talking about.
Knowledge is power and obtaining that power through knowledge has never been easier. The world is filled with so many great books, podcasts, and videos on an array of topics. It’s never been easier to educate yourself.
Reading and hearing about others’ experiences and thoughts can teach us to think in ways we never considered. Leveraging others’ successes and failures can help us as we continue our journey to make better decisions and lead a more enjoyable and productive life.
Dave Ramsey has a saying, “Why would anyone invest in you if you are not investing in yourself?”
As you think about where you want to go over the next few years and what you want to be doing, ask yourself, what am I doing to invest in myself?
Because why would anyone invest in you if you are not willing to invest in yourself?
