I was reading a piece by Ishita Gupta. She wrote:
Every day is a new chance to choose. Choose to change your perspective. Choose to flip the switch in your mind. Turn on the light and stop fretting about with insecurity and doubt. Choose to do your work and be free of distraction. Choose to see the best in someone or choose to bring out the worst in them.
In the end, the power of choice is just that – power.
How cool is that?
We live in America. Home of the free. Not just in living, but in thought.
How we choose to live is totally up to us. I am amazed everyday how people choose to be miserable or choose to hate. There is so much to be thankful for that it is easy to choose happiness.
As I wrote in one of my earlier Marty’s Minutes, Every Day is a Gift. So, go be happy and be thankful that every day you get to choose how you are going to think, feel, and act.
Until next time...I’m Marty, make every minute count.
