I just love this saying because it is so true.
We are always looking at the success of something or someone and we wish it was us. But when we start to truly dig into why it is better, my guess is that person or that success took a lot of effort.
If you want to be successful at something you have to work at it. So many people think success is something you stumble upon or you are born with it. But to be honest, that is just lazy thinking.
If you want to be great or successful at anything, you first have to start with a growth mindset. A mindset that says, “Yes I can accomplish anything if I just work at it.”
If you want to be a great leader, you can, you have to work at it. If you want to be a great athlete, you can, you just have to work at it.
Yes, the grass is greener on the other side, but my guess is the grass became greener because it’s where someone watered it.
Until next time…I’m Marty, make every minute count.
